Hello

I'm Jordan!

I have a few favourite things that are quintessentially "me".  Star Wars.  Lord of the Rings.  Orchestral Music.  The colour purple.  Coffee.  Chocolate.  Cats.  I think I'm basically a "crazy cat lady" starter package.

I'm in a season of life where I'm just working casually to accommodate family life, which has allowed me to explore some of the other things I used to love - including sewing.  A few projects I've done over the years are many quilts, some bags, several dresses for little girlies, and (my favourite) a jedi cosplay.  It was in my earlier years of sewing, so it wasn't perfect, but I still love it.  I hope to one day make customized ones for me and my kids.

My "Why"

When I was 12 years old, my family started fostering.  We joke that we were a terrible foster family because we had 3 placements over the years, and kept them all!  But honestly, adoption is a beautiful way to expand a family.  Was it always easy?  Nope.  Worth it?  Absolutely.

My two youngest siblings (now 15 and 18 years old!) both have Down Syndrome.  My sister also has Cerebral Palsy and dysgammaglobulinemia (try saying that 5 times fast!), which is a rare autoimmune disorder.  They both now get their main source of nutrition through a gastrostomy tube (known as a G-tube); however, they do both enjoy eating ice cream (who doesn't!?)  After connecting with the local G-tube community, it was obvious that there was a gap in supply locally, but the demand was growing.

I know that I appreciate local product and supporting other moms, so I decided that this was the right season for me to give this little business a try.

I will have syringe holders and button covers in stock all the time, but also love doing other projects - big or small!  If there's something you would be interested in, please reach out to me and let's chat!
